"Here we go Yankton, here we go!"

This is the chant I hear coming from the living room quite often lately.  Owen loves to play basketball and Madelyn loves to cheer for him.  She even puts on her cheerleading attire.  This is one of those things I love to capture.  You can find Owen and Madelyn doing this 2-3 different times throughout the day lately.  But I also know, that a few weeks from the now this will only be a memory and they will be on to the next thing.

Lauren-"I really wish mom would have another baby"
Will- "Really??  What would you like- a brother or a sister?
Lauren- "A GIRL!"  We did not mean it when we asked for a brother last time"

Sleepover!

One of the many benefits of having sisters is that you can have sleepovers!  The hardest part is deciding whose room to have the sleepover in.  Lauren usually wins this debate and the sleepovers are usually on her turf.  We are grateful that they are such close friends.

I am feeling better then I was this morning, but its going to take a long time to shovel out from the mess that was created by this little guy :)

Happy Birthday to...

My dad! He is 63 years young today. He is a wonderful Dad and grandpa and we love him very much. We wish you a wonderful next year Dad!

Jillian is 6!

Jillian, "Jilly", "Jillybean", "beaner", "little Jilly" as we affectionatly call her was born 6 years ago today. She has a smile that lights up a room and the sweetest personality to go with it. We are so proud of her! We love you Jillian!

My little elves

Well, thanks to my little helpers your Christmas card is on its way! We had quite the assembly line going and got them done in just a few minutes. Owen can take my place in line next year and I will lie on the floor and play with matchbox cars like he did today :)
